WWE’s Contract With Hulu Set To End Soon

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics has reported that WWE’s contract with Hulu for the next day on demand in the U.S to RAW, Smackdown and other in ring content is ending possibly as early as the end of 2021 or possibly at some point in 2022. The report speculated that Peacock would likely be a buyer as they have RAW and Smackdown after 30 days as part of their WWE Network deal in the U.S. Although it’s less likely to happen, it’s noted that WWE could look at companies like Amazo or YouTube to put pressure on FOX or NBCU to bid more when the U.S live rights are up in a few years.
