Results From ROH & NJPW’s G1 Supercard

On Saturday, April 5th, 2019 Ring of Honor & New Japan Pro Wrestling invaded Madison Square Garden as they presented G1 Supercard. If you weren’t there here is what went down….

-Kagetsu, Jenny Rose & Hazuki defeated Hana Kimura, Stella Grey & Sumie SakaiĀ in a pre-show match

-Kenny King won the Honor Rumble on the pre-show

ROH TV Champion Jeff Cobb won the NJPW NEVER Openweight Championship by defeating Will Ospreay

-Rush defeated Dalton Castle

-Kelly Klein defeated Mayu Iwatani to become ROH Women of Honor Champion

New York Street Fight between Bully Ray & Flip Gordon turned into a 6 man after Shane Taylor and Silas Young came down to help Bully Ray. This led to Juice Robinson and Mark Haskins coming out. Gordon, Robinson & Haskins would defeat Bully Ray, Taylor and Young

-Dragon Lee defeated Taiji Ishimori & Bandido to become the NEW IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion

-Guerillas of Destiny retained the IWGP Tag Team Championships and won the ROH World Tag Team Championship when they defeated PCO & Brody King, The Briscoes and EVIL & SANADA

-Zack Sabre Jr. defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi to retain the RPW British Heavyweight Championship

-Kota Ibushi defeated Tetsuya Naito to win the IWGP Intercontinental Championship

-Matt Taven defeated Jay Lethal & Marty Scurll in a ladder match to become the NEW ROH World Champion

-Kazuchika Okada defeated Jay White to become the NEW IWGP Heavyweight Championship
