CBS Sports reported that WWE RAW Superstar Jeff Hardy was driving northbound on Concord Parkway on Saturday night when he allegedly drove off the road striking about 105 feet of guardrail before the back end of the car spun out. Police estimated that Hardy did about $8,000 of damage to his 2016 Cadillace and $5,000 of damage to the guardrail. Hardy was released from jail shortly after being booked. TMZ reported that Hardy blew a .25 on a breathalyzer test following the incident, which is three times the legal limit. Hardy’s license was suspended for 30 days and he is scheduled to appear in court on April 16th.
Earlier today WWE released the following statement to PWInsider.com.
“Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions. We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials.”
